I had a fiddle and took it to the range I think I have it setup just about right. It only comes up to full height on the final few inches of draw as you commented. Even with tatty feathers every shaft was parallel horizontally and vertically which I take to be a good sign. Just need to find something soft to sheath the actual rest in as it is a bit noisy on the draw back.

For the momentI'm keeping one set of xx78s with replacing those tatty feathers (in fact I'm feeling a bit whacked out of my gourd now right now on acetone and glue :lol: ) and one was the NAPs and see which is better.
